40-day Europe Itinerary...need someone's approval!?
I'm planning a trip to Europe next year (May/June 2011) and have laid out a tentative itinerary. I'd just like to hear from ANYONE, whether they've gone or just think they know what they're talking about, if it's an efficient itinerary or if it needs to be tweeked. Day 1: Madrid Day 2: Toledo day trip/Madrid Day 3: Madrid Day 4: Segovia day trip/Madrid Day 5: Seville Day 6: Seville Day 7: Granada Day 8: Granada Day 9: Valencia Day 10: Valencia Day 11: Barcelona Day 12: Barcelona Day 13: Barcelona/overnight ferry to Rome (Citiavecchia) Day 14: Ferry/Arrive in Citiavecchia (Rome's port) around 3-4 PM. Rome Day 15: Rome Day 16: Rome/Vatican Day 17; Pisa/Florence Day 18: Florence Day 19: Udine (family lives there. Will take day trip to Venice, and possibly day trip to Trieste, while here) Day 20: Udine Day 21: Udine Day 22: Udine Day 23: Munich Day 24: Munich/Day Trip to Neuschwanstein Castle Day 25: Munich Day 26: Dublin Day 27: Dublin Day 28: Cork Day 29: Galway via Cliffs of Moher Day 30: Ballinrobe (with family) Day 31: Ballinrobe Day 32: Limerick (en route to airport in Shannon) Day 33: London Day 34: London Day 35: London/Paris Day 36: Paris Day 37: Paris/Versailles Day 38: Paris/Disneyland Day 39: Paris/Return to Madrid Day 40: Fly home Does it make sense??? Is it too much?? Is there anything that I should fix?? I'd appreciate any advice and input! :)

Looks like you are not going to be bored, that's for sure. Only thing I'd point out is Day 17, you are not going to have much time for either city there. Choose just one (Florence).
